So you want free books but don't want to spend hours finding them? You have come to the right place. I'm not a computer or Kindle whiz, just one Kindle owner trying to help another.
I have basically sifted through all the sites and blogs telling you how to get free kindle books, and posted all the best links in one place. No need to spend tons of time going through search results trying to figure out which sites are worth your time. I have categorized them so you know what you are getting yourself into. If you use these sites, you will have way more free books than you can read.
You might be thinking.."Okay so I really want to download books from the second list; maybe even from a format that Kindle doesn't support, but I have no earthly idea how to change the format or even how to put it on my Kindle!" Never fear, there are links that explain that as well! Hope this helps someone!
Kindle format/ easy to download list:
Free E Books Collections on Amazon- Basically all the Kindle formatted books that only take seconds to put on your kindle via wireless connection. On the right-hand side of the page there are directions as to how to put books on your kindle via USB cable. Most free e-books can be categorized one of two ways:
Limited-Time promotional offer free books- These are my favorite because these are all newer books that will only be free for a short time. They are often really good books, but make sure you check the price before you download them. Part of the gimmick is they are hoping you see them when they are free, but by the time you come to get them, they aren't free anymore but you buy them anyway. They post new free books every week, so check back to this site for the latest!
Classic free books-These will always be free because the copyrights have expired.
Latest free books on the knob-Another resource for the books that are free for a limited time. The nice thing about this is it's a blog, so you can subscribe and get updates with the latest free books delivered to you.
